Care for the Environment
Our
Farms
Through our farms the promoters want to continue with our Elders’ vision by bringing those greens back into the city where they own parcels of land instead of constructing big concrete jungles. We want to practice healthy crop rotation, encourage rainwater harvesting, efficiently using local water sources and carefully selecting produce varieties that grow well and taste great.
Wayanad
Our Farm is located in Panamaram Village in Wayand District. It is located 16 KM towards North from District head quarters Kalpetta. This parcel of land is right next to beautiful paddy fields. The Panamaram river, a tributary of the Kabani River flows by the side of this farm. Panamaram has great significance in the history of Indian freedom struggle as it witnessed one of the first freedom struggle in South India.
The nearest railway station is at Mysore and the nearest airports are Kozhikode International Airport-120 km, Bengaluru International Airport-290 km, and Kannur International Airport, 58 km.

Madagascar
The lush island nation of Madagascar, renowned for its unique biodiversity, harbors a wealth of mineral resources. However, this very resource presents a double-edged sword. While large-scale mining has the potential to drive economic growth, uncontrolled and unsustainable practices have resulted in a cascade of negative consequences for the Malagasy people and their environment. At NaVa , we recognise the multifaceted problem faced by Malagasy communities, specifically focusing on the Mananjary region, where NaVa Farm Fields operates along with our associate Greens Mada, a subsidiary of Prime Star Ventures. Our efforts have directly contributed to the socio-economic upliftment of local communities, particularly through agriculture. We have implemented community-involved farming systems that enhance agricultural productivity and sustainability, creating numerous job opportunities.
