This variety includes beans that are naturally shorter (typically less than 10-12 cm) and those that have split during the curing process. Despite their size or appearance, these beans retain the same rich flavor and aroma as longer beans. They are often more affordable and are commonly used in vanilla extracts, baking, and other culinary applications where the visual appeal of the bean is less critical. This bean has a very low moisture content, from 17 to 21%. It is ideally used for transformation into extract or powder. It comes in split or non-split, with a variable humidity rate.
